Barcelona Led Iluminación S.L. announces that it has been summoned to appear before the Court of Milan – Specialized Business Section (RG 20244/2025), by the Italian company Luceplan S.r.l. concerning the marketing of lighting fixtures called “Bogam” and “Ronda.” These products had been marketed in good faith and without awareness of any third-party rights. Once aware of Luceplan S.r.l.’s registered design rights relating to its “ILLAN” lamp (well-known icons of contemporary design and protected as registered designs), Barcelona Led Iluminación S.L. declares that it has discontinued the promotion and sale of the “Bogam” and “Ronda” lighting fixtures, which had been offered on www.barcelonaled.com on the Marketplace hosted on the website www.leroymerlin.it, and www.manomano.it. The company moreover reaffirms its respect for intellectual property and undertakes to ensure compliance with the IP rights of Luceplan S.r.l. in the future.
