LED RGB light submersible and embeddable in the drain plugs of boats.

Underwater LED RGB light manufactured in AISI 316L marine treated stainless steel with IP68 protection, for mounting on the hull of boats, yachts and pleasure craft, below the waterline. It can also be installed in swimming pools, jacuzzis, ponds and any other aquatic element as long as it remains submerged during operation. The submersible RGB LED RGB lamp is installed directly into existing drainage holes, so no additional drilling of the hull is required. Connection is easily made by screwing the half-inch diameter waterproof body against the existing holes.

It has a CREE RGB LED chip board, with an average power of 19.8W and a maximum of 27W. Connection is to an RGB controller (sold separately) and has a single 12V voltage input (with built-in driver). This lamp is not valid for installations with voltage higher than 12V; for this purpose, you will need to install a DC voltage converter to a maximum of 12V.

Mounting and installation of LED RGB underwater boat light

The RGB LED submersible drain plug light requires constant submersion underwater during operation and function. Operation out of water or without external cooling means may cause it to malfunction.

For mounting, it will be sufficient to clean the existing drain plugs on the boat, screw in the lamp using the rear watertight connector. In any case, we recommend that a professional supervise the assembly work.

Applications of RGB LED recessed drain plug lights

RGB LED lights are designed to be recessed into existing 1/2 inch drain holes and drain holes in the hull of the boat. They are also suitable for use in swimming pools, ponds, hot tubs and other water features such as ornamental fountains, etc. Remember that the lamp must always be completely submerged while in operation, and that you must duly protect the watertightness of the assembly in case of drilling for an express assembly.
