Microwave presence sensor with 5.8Hz radar and 360º detection angle. It is possible to adjust the switch-off time, light detection and detection meters. Thanks to its detection through microwaves the sensor can be covered in its installation since the detection is possible through doors, windows or thin walls of non-metallic materials.

Microwave presence sensor

The presence and brightness sensor is ideal for energy saving as it is possible to control its switching on and off efficiently by means of the DIP switch. It is easily installed and you can adjust the detection distance (from 2 to 10 meters), the ambient brightness (from 5L to 300L and with daylight) and the switching off time (from 10 seconds to 30 minutes). This way you can control when the luminaire is turned on and when it is turned off depending on the needs of the site. In addition the sensor has a detection angle of 360º and being microwave you can install it in covered places since it will also detect movement through doors, windows or thin walls without metallic materials.

The input voltage is 220-240V-AC and the radar sensor is 5.8Hz. Maximum power for the sensor is 1200W for incandescent and 300W for LED luminaires. It has one input channel for mains and one output channel for light source.

Motion sensor features:

  • Radar Sensor: 5.8Hz CW radar, ISM band detection.
  • 360° detection angle
  • Option to adjust detection distance between 2m, 5m, 8m and 10m.
  • Option to adjust the shutdown time in 10s, 60s, 5m, 12m and 30m.
  • Option to adjust the detection light: 5L, 30L, 100L, 300L and with daylight.
  • Maximum power: 300W in LED and 1200W in incandescent.
  • IP Rating: IP20
  • Frequency: 50-60HZ
  • Voltage: 220 -240 V-AC

Sensor configuration via DIP-switch:

With the microwave motion sensor you can adjust the brightness, off time and detection range with the micro DIP switch.

  1. The detection range setting can be 2M, 5M, 8M or 10M. The desired range can be adjusted to avoid unwanted activation and to have optimum sensitivity at the time of sensor activation.
  2. The time setting can be set to 10sec, 60sec, 5min, 12min and 30min. This is set in order to define how long the light will be on after detection. As long as there is a presence the sensor will continue to work until it no longer detects a presence.
  3. The brightness setting can be 5L, 30L, 100L, 300L and daylight.

Application of the motion and brightness sensor:

  • Exclusive use for placing in all kinds of indoor. Building entrances, stairways, corridors, parking lots and service stations among many more uses.
  • The sensor can be covered, as detection is possible through doors, glass panels or thin walls.

Questions

P: Pregunta: I just bought one assuming it is a PRESENCE sensor so in the absence of motion, it should not turn anything off or on, right? In the description at least it says so: PRESENCE and motion radar sensor.
If it is, it should not turn off the lights while there is PRESENCE in the cabin in which it is installed even if there is NO MOTION. At least that is a PRESENCE sensor.
Please confirm this BEFORE SENDING me the order I just placed.
R: Respuesta: The sensor requires motion for activation
