The LED strip is an element that integrates into your projects with minimal visual impact, creating indirect and diffused lighting that highlights architectural elements.

SMD5050 RGB LED strips are medium/high power and low power consumption. Average power consumption is estimated at 14.4 W/m, with all color channels activated at maximum. They can be cut every 50mm, which allows them to be adapted and spliced according to the needs of each project.

Installation of the IP67 RGB 12V siliconized LED strip:

The IP67 SILICONED LED strip does NOT come with self-adhesive tape on the back. The mounting should be done by aluminum profiles, or with transparent flanges for fixing with nails/screws. As it is a flexible strip, it can be used in tight curves. The mounting against the power supply can be done by means of connectors or by soldering the cable directly to the power supply. In case you want to install it outdoors, be sure to protect the soldering, cuts and splices with the necessary sealing.

For a complete LED strip installation you will need a controller, a power supply and, optionally, aluminum profiles (surface or recessed). It is estimated that for 12V LED strips, if you want to make stretches of more than 5 meters, you will need to install additional power supplies and signal amplifiers to avoid voltage drops.

In the specific case of RGB strips, you will have to install a specific color controller. We have multiple options in RGB controllers, depending on your budget and the complexity of the installation. Consult with our sales staff to find the most suitable RGB control system for you.
